Our rugs are made by artisans from recycled cotton. This cotton comes from the leftovers of Portuguese textile factories - a sustainable approach that makes each piece unique. The colors of the rugs reflect the current trends in the fashion world, as they are made from the textile leftovers that are available at the time. This means that the color palette changes every year!
The patterns are created using a special technique: after the carpet is woven, the designs are carefully knotted by hand, stitch by stitch, with great detail. This combination of traditional weaving and artistic handwork gives the carpets their distinctive structure and appearance.
The carpets are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also easy to care for. They can be easily machine washed at 30°C and remain dimensionally stable and color-intensive even after many washes.
